Artist House VII

Artist House VII is a dedicated artist residency of North Midlands Project. It is located near the centre of the Carnamah townsite, 300 kilometres north of Perth in Western Australia's Mid West region. The four bedroom house is fully self-contained and is in walking distance to the local supermarket, newsagency, post office, museum, service station, cafe and hotel.

The house is across the road from our other facilities, The Bank Gallery and The Exchange, which ideally form a key part of any residency. The Exchange is a former 1930s mechanical garage now utilised as a community loungeroom, workshop space, arts studio, digital learning hub, community book exchange and event venue.

If you're interested in undertaking a residency and engaging with the communities of the North Midlands (Carnamah, Coorow, Eneabba, Mingenew, Morawa, Perenjori and Three Springs), we encourage you to complete the below Expression of Interest (EOI) form. We strive for residencies to benefit both the artist/creative and our local community. We'll be in touch as suitable opportunities arise.
