Memories + Wishing Trees

Old, young, singles, couples, family and friends!

Come and share a memory or a wish you'd like to see come true. Using origami, fold your note into a 'leaf' and place on the wishing tree. All the memories and wishes will be planted under a new community wishing tree at The Exchange at the end of the project.

Take part at the Our History Our Heritage Festival in Henry Parkin Gardens at 13 Macpherson Street in Carnamah from 11am to 2pm on Sunday 18th of April. No RSVP is required; and the festival and this activity are free of charge.

In Conversation with SARAH-JAYNE

In April, writer in residence Sarah-Jayne will be joining the Scribes of the North Midlands (Writers Group) to run creative writing activities, share hints and tips on writing and chat about becoming a published author.

All are welcome to these free activities at The Exchange at 4 Macpherson Street in Carnamah. No RSVP is required.

Each residency will include community workshops to be held in different towns schools, hospitals and at Culture + Arts Community Days. During each residency a new artwork will be created collaboratively by the artist and the community. At the end of the year the ten works created from the residencies will come together for an Ebb + Flow exhibition.
