North Midlands Project is excited to host Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia Under the Same Sky WA Regional Tour - BIRD MAKING WORKSHOP.

Suitable for beginner and advanced sewers, community members will be guided in a workshop to create a single bird made from their own donated piece of clothing.

The finished bird can either be kept by the maker or form part of a community installation in your town. Participants will also have the opportunity to record their own story which can be shared in a local exhibition or submitted back to Co3 to join the archives of the production.

Bring your own garments (t-shirts or natural fibres work best). Co3 will provide all other additional sewing materials, including two sewing machines. Workshops are open to adults and children. Any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
