Annual Knit-A-Thon / Blanket Appeal

KNitting For Charity

Each year our local community in the North Midlands donates blankets that have been knitted, crocheted or sewn to disadvantaged people in WA.

We're looking for people to help knit squares to make blankets! The directions are further below.

Once a year the community gets together to join the squares together and enjoy a day of friendship.

Even though we are a small community it is amazing what can be achieved. Last year we donated a total of 90 blankets to the Salvation Army to be distributed to Graceville Women's Refuge and the Beacon Homeless Centre.

We'd love to see the creations you are making. Take a picture and post on our Creative @ Home Facebook group or on Instagram with #creativeathome.

If you live outside the North Midlands check out kogo.org.au to get involved with other projects to spread the warmth!
